About

Christopher Moses inspires connections and conversations that facilitate personal and institutional growth across diverse cultures. He is a leader in international education, institutional development, and partnership management, based since 2013 in Shanghai, China. He served as Founding Head of School—International at Shanghai Hongrun Boyuan School for seven and a half years, through January 2026. Currently he is taking a sabbatical.

Prior to China, Chris worked in various roles at independent schools in the United States, including St. Paul's School in Concord, NH, and Berkeley Carroll, in Brooklyn, NY.

Chris pursued graduate studies on Early Modern Britain, European intellectual history, and the Colonial Americas in the History Department at Princeton University, earning distinction in all fields for his qualifying examinations. As an undergraduate, Chris attended Reed College where he was Student Body President in 2002 and was elected to Phi Beta Kappa upon graduation.
